The meeting started with a Question and Answer session. Various questions were asked by the members. The questions were discussed and answered with additional information regarding related techniques provided by various members.

One question was not answered at the meeting: "How can I eliminate the fringe from a selection of trees when trying to replace a dull sky?" A technique that can produce excellent results is described here.

Jeff B. demonstrated a technique for sharpening using the Lightness Channel in LAB mode.

Jerry W. mentioned that he used the Helicon Noise Filter and found it to be an excellent tool.

Harry E. reviewed a number of techniques for correcting overexposed and underexposed photos.

John W. announced that the next Web Design meeting will be held at the Bethpage Library (instead of Howitt School) on Wednesday, July 21 at 7:00 PM .

John P. described a technique for whitening teeth in a photo, using an addition layer and opacity adjustments. Also described was a way to customize and save the Photoshop Workspace.

Jeff B. gave a presentation on the features, capabilities and benefits of using the new RAW format in digital photography. Then followed it with a video on the subject by Katrin Eismann.
