Crop A Crooked Photo |
So, you have a nice picture but it wasn't scanned in squarely. There are a few ways to correct the photo. Here's a neat technique using the CROP Tool to crop and straighten out the photo in one easy step. |
1) Open the photo in Photoshop. |
2) Click on the CROP A smaller crop selection will allow greater maneuverability in the following step. |
When rotating, try moving the pointer a greater distance away from the corner; this will give greater precision. You can move the crop selection by dragging itwith the mouse; for finer precision, try using the arrow keys to move the crop selection one pixel at a time (or shift + arrow to move 10 pixels at a time). |
4) Enlarge the crop selection by dragging its lower right corner to the lower right corner of the image. This should encompass the portion of the image that you want. Do some fine tuning by adjusting the top and sides of the crop selection if required. |
5) Press the Enter Key to crop the photo and Photoshop will also straighten out the photo for you. Easy?
